Janelle's family

Hello there! My name is Janelle! It is so nice to chat with you all and connect on a more personal level! I was born and raised in Woodville, a very small town about 40 minutes from Keswick. I grew up with two incredibly supportive parents, two amazing sisters and a very close and loving extended family. I grew up surrounded by a number of influential women in my family with careers in healthcare and quickly realized that is where my passion was also.

I graduated from McMaster University with the a Bachelor in Medical Radiation Science and Diploma in Radiography from Mohawk College. Although I loved being an MRT, I felt that I wanted more. I then attended and graduated from the University of Toronto and with a second Bachelors Degree and became a Canadian Certified Physician Assistant. I worked in northern Ontario as well as Barrie for several years before finding a home at Woodbine Medical Centre. While working in family practice with Dr Stribbell, we quickly bonded over our similarities when it came to work, family and mutual love of all things Disney.

Disney World Vacation

I married my husband in fall of 2019 and we welcomed our first daughter the following year. She is now almost 4 and is equal parts beautiful, intelligent and sassy. She loves all things unicorn and Disney Princesses. We welcomed our second daughter in 2022 who turns 2 this spring. She is as spunky as she is sweet with a heart of gold. She loves all things Minnie Mouse and Frozen. My husband and daughters are my motivation and everything I do is for them, and I am blessed to have a supportive partner who allows me to build my career. My time outside of work is always with them, family and friends creating experiences and memories!

Learning New Specialized Laser Techniques

Over my career I have seen many amazing clients and one of the most common concerns was their skin. With the great working relationship I had with Dr. Stribbell already, partnering on this new adventure seemed like an incredible and exciting next step. After lots of research in regards to medical laser therapy and meeting with Cutera, I just knew that it was going to be the best fit moving forward! I have always wanted to ensure that the type of technology we were using was going to give out patients optimal results, therefore improving their self esteem which could extend to other areas of their health. Seeing the smiles on patients’ faces after they have finished a treatment and can see their results is the most rewarding thing and truly makes the work we are putting into this business so so worth it!

With where I am in life both personally and professionally, I can say wholeheartedly that with the creation of Georgina Rejuvenation Centre in addition to my family practice, I truly feel like I am doing exactly what I was always meant to do! I cannot wait to see what the future holds and all of the incredible people and relationships we will build!
